i am very cofused i used to own a palm pre so i am new to this can some one walk me through this step by step and explain it. Also is it some thing similar to the palm pre or is it s different? is there also a software or program i need to root.

I would personally suggest that you read EVERYTHING 4 times, than reading these steps to all of your relatives. Lol. But on a serious note, be very cautious... It is an awesome feature to Android, but you can seriously do damage to your device. Ask questions before performing anything, rather than after. Good luck, enjoy the journey.

. I still would like to know what i can do when it is rooted and if there is any software like the palm pre had (preware). Also if there are any different types of hacks and add ons for android or my phone (droid 3). What is a kernal and other stuff like that? If there is please let me know asap.
