Verizon question

Alright here's the deal: I want to purchase the Bionic tomorrow, but I'm currently waiting for some money from selling my old phone on eBay and I don't want to put the $600 on my credit card. So my question is whether I can use the bill to account feature to pay for $250 of that amount, and then use my card for the rest. Basically, splitting payments between the two. Verizons website isn't really clear, and I talked to some of Verizon's online reps and they weren't sure.

Anyone have any idea?
