Play Store v Amazon App Store

QR Droid shows up in Play as needing an update so I updated it. Then it showed up in Amazon app store as needing an update so I updated again. Now it shows up in Play as needing an update yet again.

How do I stop this back and forth between app stores trying to update the same app?

try removing the app and reinstalling, that way ity installs current verision. if that doesnt work i would just get rid of it and use "barcode scanner" works better IMO

It's not an app problem, it's a problem with dueling Android markets. The only way I've found to solve it is to stop using one Market or the other.

is there a way to disassociate an app from one market or the other?
the apps I get from Amazon are usually the free app o the day ones. I dont want Amazon to tell me my google play market apps need updating...
