Deleted photos, need help

I accidentally deleted photos off of my phone about 3 hours ago. I knew i could recover them w/ a recovery program. I found Remo which only supports Mass Storage Mode (as w/ every other recovery program i have found) which is a problem because i can only choose between MTP & PTP connections. Is there anyway around this or should i just except the loss? Also which is the best way to minimize my chances of screwing up any potential recovery. should i just keep it off, use airplane mode/don't use the internet, or just don't take any new pics (my camera folder is what got deleted). Thanks in advance for any and all help.
