Keyboard Issues when using Google Chrome

I've noticed today that when I type a word in my browser (using swype or type method) and I have spelled it wrong, when I click to highlight that word or try to go to the end of the word to erase it, the browser adds that word and won't let me erase what I typed. Any time I click the end of a word, it will add that word over and over again. It does it on any website where I type a word in a search box. If I send a text, go to my Facebook or Twitter accounts, it doesn't happen there, so I'm thinking it may be a browser issue?????? It's becoming slightly frustrating.

I have the same issue. If anyone is aware of a fix that would be great. I downloaded and am now using Firefox and the problem does not occur. It's actually easier to enter information in a captcha as the swipe keyboard does not try to auto correct.

Have you tried other keyboards? There are trials for Kii Keyboard, Swiftkey (I believe) and others. May be worth a try.

Note - you could also try Google Keyboard but that may be the default. Not sure how the Droid RAZR HD does this. Just check the Play Store and search Google Keyboard and see if its installed.

Sent from my Droid Maxx using AC Forums.
