[ROM][ODIN] Gingerbread "Leaked" EH06 v2.3.4 Now Available!
Gingerbread EH06 v2.3.4
Before the info below I just wanted to thank drm_stretch for jumping in and helping out, as many of you know my Epic 4g is basically broken/useless and I'm waiting on a new refurb. I didn't want you the members to suffer because of me and dtm_stretch jumped right up to the plate when I asked. Thanks!

Re: [ROM][ODIN] Gingerbread "Leaked" EH06 v2.3.4 Now Available!
I switched back to EC05 for the rest of the day I have got some running around to do and the GPS wasn't getting a lock. Ill switch back tonight to run through the trouble shooting on the GPS. One thing I did notice was Telenav GPS was installed instead of Sprint Nav. Other than that I didn't notice anything different from EG22. Also I tested the rooting method with the odin file and flashed the zip and it worked. I returned to EC05 by restoring my back up then flashing the EC05 modem, very easy process.

Its entirely up to you.. Remember this is complete stock, so you can't flash any previous themes, etc over it. I'm sure the devs are already working on the deodexed version to play with.

Re: [ROM][ODIN] Gingerbread "Leaked" EH06 v2.3.4 Now Available!
Well its more than just the modem, it the entire OS getting updated.. Remember these are leaks and normally devs don't put any real effort into building ROMs from leaked builds. But in the case of Gingerbread and waiting as long as we have so far the devs do what they can with the time between leaks...

Re: [ROM][ODIN] Gingerbread "Leaked" EH06 v2.3.4 Now Available!
I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing...all I can think of is they cannot make up their mind and come up with a solid os for us to use. They fix one thing, they break another, etc. I'm sure they'll finally come up with something, it's just people have been waiting for a long time and the equipments are becoming absolete just like the old pc's in the second hand stores.

Completely understand what you saying Robbie. You would be surprised the amount of users that will still be rockin the Epic 4g for months and even a year or two after most forget about it. Not everyone has the money or the patience to jump on the latest and greatest devices so there will still be many around to enjoy this official build when it becomes reality.

I'm glad the Epic is the first phone in a while that doesn't have me itching to get rid of it
