Love how the development it getting amped up on this phone already, but I'm not ready to dive in with the rooted kernel yet. But I would love to be able just to use Titanium Backup to restore some of my app data?

Is there anyway to achieve temporary root on the ROM for the sake of restoring via Titanium? Z4root work?

I am curious too for the same reasons. Plus I noticed Z4root was loaded on the phone used in the OC kernel and CWM video. Does z4 work?

Use odin to flash the full root kernel.

Then use odin to flash a fully stock kernel.
