Rooting the Galaxy Ace.

Hello guys.

I am stuck on trying to root my phone, i was following a guide from the xda forums, i put the .zip file in my sdcard and now i have to get into recovery mode.

There is no way i can start in recovery mode, i am using the home button + power, the phone starts normally with the Samsung Animation. I tried the + volume and power button too.

Make sure you're starting from a fully powered off state. Easiest way is to pull the battery. Also make sure you are continuing to hold the home button until you get into recovery.
