I just got a Samsung GS3 (AT&T) and it is my first android device. So far i like it well enough but still had a few gripes. I was wondering if rooting my device might solve some of these problems.
Gripes:
No MMS/SMS over WiFi
AT&T's awefull bloatware
No support for Google Wallet
No support for SamsungDive
Visual Voicemail not integrated into stock Phone app
When phone is on mute/vibrate some apps still play sounds
Palm swipe screenshot is total garbage, but can figure how to take SS when palm swipe is disabled
I was also wondering what are some other advantages of rooting your phone.
