On several occasions now, I have accidentially left my google nexus 7 charging over night. Is this bad for the battery or is there some sort of auto "stop" charge feature? Historically with other electronic devices I know this is not good.

Ehhh. Some people say don't do it some say it doesn't matter. But me I always leave mine on the charger at night. I've done this since I got it. My natter still last a good bit. I get at least 13-15 hrs. And my battery is Down to 15% so.. I mean with the advancement in tech they would make a battery that could withstand that type of charging. But some times I won't charge it until the next morning. So I mean if you rarely do it then.. its no biggie.

I'm an overnight charger too, of all my devices. The batteries protect themselves and won't overcharge. I have starting the day with having a phone or tablet that's not 100%.
