Send photos to instant upload

The instant upload feature on my Samsung Exhibit II wasn't working for several months. No it has started working again, so any pics I take go to instant upload as they should. But, the many pics taken during the months that it wasn't working are still on the phone and not on instant upload. It seems like it should 'sync' them but it is not - it is only sending any new pics I take, not the old ones. Any ideas on how to do that? Thanks.

open google+ app-->Menu-->Settings-->Click Instant Upload-->Upload all
