Alcatel OT 918n Glory X CWM question

i'm sorry if i had to post my question here because i can't find an answer since the hacking forum seems to have been removed from android central or this site may be under construction...

Hello android central! I've just successfully rooted my Alcatel One Touch 918n Glory X 2.3.6.
its my first android gadget and i'm very happy with it so please help me with a these questions guys!

here are my questions:
1. does CWM recovery installed using 'sp flash tool' not a permanent one?
2. how can i make CWM recovery my permanent recovery?

i asked this because when i installed CWM recovery using sp flash tool, even after i've been rooted, every time i reboot to recovery i go back to the regular/non-custom recovery..

Installing CWM is permanent. Evidently you're going through the steps, but it's not being installed.

i don't know man i used sp flash tool but after rebooting it returns to a normal cwm.. somebody suggested 'double flashing' but i don't know anything about it.
any ideas?
