Android Phone buying help

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and urgently need advice,
I'm currently using an iPhone 4s what im starting to detest as its dropping calls can being a compleate peice of crap!!

Before being a iPhone owner i had a Samsung Galaxy Ace what i loved just the spec wasnt good enough. i looked into the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini and decided that wasnt worth upgrading to as for screen size etc and the Samsung Galaxy S3 was to big

I've came across the Sony Xperia T, and the feel and size of it seems perfect but being a Samsung lover i know nothing about Sony phones.
Can you guys please help me with the following questons:
Is Sony Mobile any good?
Are they much diffrent to Samsung models?
Does it have the something simular to the iPhone notes or S Note?
Can i have motipual emails ie my Gmail plus 3 others what are provided by my domain name for my website?
I hate widgets and miltipule screens, can i remove all widgets from the home screen and just have one plain screen with a background of my choice?
Is the Xperia T a good phone to buy and will it be updated i hate buying something then a new model comes out only a few weeks/months later?
