I'm a total Android newbie, and while the dictionary is good, it's only good to a point. What exactly is Froyo? There isn't a definition, just a link to the news about Froyo, and if you don't understand the term to begin with the links don't do much good. Anyone know the term 'grok'? I don't grok Froyo.

First off, I know that there was a European Hero, and I know that the Eris is Verizon's version of the Hero.
You describe the Eris as the US version of the Hero.
You describe the Hero as a phone released by Verizon as the Eris, also known as the G2.
I know you guys know that the Hero was released by Sprint, before Verizon released the Eris. Umm, and I never heard anyone refer to either of them as the G2. Youknow, that flimsy-hinged phone, missing half its memory that just came out? haha sorry, couldn't resist.

Didn't really tell me what a kernel and ROM really are, but thanks for the basic definition. Doesn't help a clueless noob like me though. My Smartphone Journey on Big Red:

I just read an article about titled Motorola Droid 2 SBF Released for 2.3.20 Update. I'm not on Verizon, so really don't follow the Droid stuff that closely, but SBF was something that I hadn't heard of. The article seems to take the stance that if you know about modding and such, then you know what the SBF is. Well, I know about modding my MyTouch and Vibrant, but don't know what the SBF is.
Would be nice to find out what it is and include it in the dictionary.
I think this dictionary is a great thing for the Android community.

I came on here to ask for "Nandroid" to be added and saw that two other people have asked for the same thing. Do we have to pester you people before you add something?
Seriously, though, I am beginning to doubt that anyone responsible for the dictionary actually reads this thread.

Couple of edits - maybe this should be a wiki instead?
Koush is the maker of Clockwork Recovery, not Clockwork.
Bootloader definition needs to be blown out - elaborate on difference between recovery and fastboot modes. I think the term "low level" is misleading - I don't think of flashing a radio from fastboot as flashing a "low level" component on a scale of importance and risk.
APP2SD is now official. Apps2Ext is the unofficial version.
New definitions for:
S-ON/S-OFF on newer phones
