Email option that syncs from laptop to phone

Last week I switched from an iPhone 4 to the Verizon Galaxy S4. I love it so far and I'm still on the upward slope of the learning curve, but I'm looking for an email client that I can use on my laptop that will sync with my phone. It's my work email and it is set up on Outlook on my Toshiba laptop (Windows 7 64bit) and through the default email client on the phone (it's just a POP3 account). The problem that i run into is that mail deleted or sent from one device is not reflected on the other. I'm not sure if there is a solution, but I'm hoping there is.

If its POP3 email account there is nothing you can do about it even if you use iPhone since its POP3 . better switch to Microsoft exchange or IMAP

So I would need my employer to switch the company email account to IMAP or Microsoft Exchange?

Yes exactly so you will get that feature you were looking for . if you delete open or flag an email on your device same thing will happen on your laptop desktop or any other device instantly
