We are trying to set up ten Asus Memo Pads that we are donating to a local teen center. The tablets are running 4.1 and we have set up the app locks to control that but we would like a suggestion for parental controls for chrome. These tables will be used only in house and will not purposely leave the building but we will be installing an AV with location services none the less. They will be checking out the tablets with their student id's and each tablet will be numbered with a unique ID.
What do you recommend for a parental app?

It's aimed at a younger demographic, but Kids Place would probably still be effective. Depends on how nice you want the interface to look.

I am actually looking for website blocking. Thanks for that though, The built in lock system on these tablets seem pretty good at blocking the apps themselves. We donated 10 pc's as well and we're using Windows live family safety on those and it seems good at blocking the sites we lock out of and has a good list preinstalled of the most common porn, malware and generally bad violent sites. I would like something similar to that for the tablets.

Thank you. I did a web filter search and there are quite a few. I find the ratings on google play leave a lot to be desired. a lot of them look like people either posting a rating to see their name or seem to hate everything they try. a lot of the same names on a lot for various apps. I will experiment I suppose I wasn't really trying to be lazy but I have ten tablets to set up in the next three days and was hoping for some input from others that might have tried them. Thanks for hearing me out, I will go experiment on my Asus tab and see what I can find.
Have a good day

There is an amazing new app called StudyLock. It locks kids android devices until they answer questions in Math, Science, History and other subjects. Configure the amount of questions kids have to answer everytime they open their phone and /or apps. It cannot be uninstalled except with a parental password. StudyLock also tracks the android usage, grades the kids on all subjects, and kids compete for prizes on the website. Itis a great educational lock. Try the free version.
