HELP - S4 and Android App Crashing (Tides and Current)

Ok, I have a Galaxy S4,and I heard Tides & Currents is a great android app from users of the Galaxy S3.

So I downloading and installed on my S4, but it crashes when I try to run it... every time. I have uninstalled and re-installed it about 20x, but still not able to get it to work.

Has any one else experienced the same issue on a S4? Any solution to correct this? Support doesn't seem to reply to any questions.

What would be a great alternative (app) with close to the same functions and experience?

Any help would be great, as I'm pretty frustrated.

Have you emailed the developer about the issue? I know you said support isn't helpful but who are you contacting?

I've sent email directly from their web site.

Question: As this app is downloaded from Amazon, and not Google Play, could this be a possible issue?

Any suggests would be most helpful.

Maybe. Play automatically filters apps that are compatible with your device.

I've had a few more friends with droid (non S4) install this app... but yet I am not able to.

What am I doing wrong?!?!?!?!
