usb mode no longer working. Why?

My tablet and pc no longer communicate. At first they did just fine. How ever something has gone wrong. My computer makes the noise that it recognizes the new item, yet my tablet will no longer bring up the option to use usb mode. Why. As far as I know there have been no changes to warrent this. Sometimes the pc pops up with a messege saying the drivers could not install correctly. Can some one help me fix this.

Uninstall the tablet drivers. Reboot. Reinstall the tablet drivers. See if that helps.
