Screen is broken/unusable - how do I connect USB storage
I have an old Samsung Captivate Glide with a defunct screen--it doesn't show anything, it's cracked/spiderwebbed, chucks of glass missing, etc.
There are pictures and music stored on the phone (not the sd card, which I was able to remove), and I would like to get them on my computer. But, I can't "connect usb storage device" because I can't see anything on the screen to select that option.
The phone charges and turns on, etc, and keyboard does work--or at least, it lights up. My computer recognizes that something has been plugged in when I connect the cord, but since I can't hit the connect usb storage on the screen, I'm not able to get to anything. Is there a way I can use the keyboard to connect the device? A series of keystrokes or something like that?
