Disabling email notification sound for synchronized subfolder
I'm using the default Kitkat email app on a Motorola RAZR HD. I am synchronizing both my inbox and one other folder with an Exchange server for my work email. I have the default notification sound set to "silent" on the email app and this works well with the inbox however any new emails that come into the other folder (placed there by rules on the Exchange server) still play the default notification sound for the device. How do I stop that?
I've tried setting the device default notification to "none" and then setting sound notifications in each individual app, but there are apps where I do want sound notifications that only use the device's default sound - for example a Google Reminder.
