My Keyboard case is typing the wrong letters, back space is Z. How can I fix this?

Keyboard case typing the wrong letters, back space is z

I have bought a case with keyboard for my tablet. Fits well but it is not correct when it types. Some letters are missing, and F comes out as T and the backspace is a Z.

I have tried all the English uk and us keyboard style settings but none are correct.

Please can anyone suggest a solution.

Which tablet do you have? Was the case designed specifically for that tablet, or is it a "universal" case? It may be that it's just poorly designed of defective. You should probably inquire about getting an exchange or refund.

It is a universal case. I have bought two and both have the same problem.

Not clear why the type of tablet is relevant. It is running Android kitkat.

The reason why I ask for which tablet you have is that I could also suggest trying a cache partition wipe, which can sometimes fix various odd issues. But the procedure varies with the device.

Maybe the letters are irrelevant.

Just ask: "keyboard, case - wrong!".
