I don't remember my password, how can I set my phone back to factory settings?

i dont remember passwords want to set back to factory setting

i have done the instructions but no personal shows up. is there another way to wipe clean so i can use the tablet

So, first of all power off your device, and then, hold the power button, volume up button, and the home button until something comes up. It will look really confusing but don't worry! Now navigate to "Factory reset/wipe data" using the volume buttons, and click the power button to accept.
Now you device should be resetting to factory!
Sorry that this is only for samsung devices, if you don't have a samsung device, reply to me leaving your tablet/phone model and make.
