clearing credentionals

I just got this phone which is a Lg Power l22c! I have put a passcode on it and now it won't let turn it off! I have done some research! Some say if you have a app downloaded (i forgot the name) but some say clear all creditionals! If I do clear them will this take my $45 minute card off my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that you set up a screen lock with a password or PIN? It won't let you turn it off, or do you mean it won't let you turn it on (i.e., it won't accept your password)?

Go to Settings>Security>Screen Lock, enter your current password, then select a new method (or just Slide or None).

Then the main thing to try is Clear Credentials, but I'm not sure if that does anything to your calling card credit.

Your issue is that the device manager is selected as a device administration thing. You need to go to the settings then security then phone admins then uncheck Android device manager.
