Why won't my phone sign in to another account

It won't let me use my newer email

What device and version? For my Galaxy to add new accounts I follow these steps. Settings > Accounts > Add Account then choose whichever account you are signing into whether it be gmail yahoo etc.

If you are using Android and want to login from another account, you have to remove the existing account because there is no way to log out from Gmail app in Android. If you don't want to remove the account, you can add another account by following the below steps:-
1. Open Gmail app
2. On the top left, tap the down arrow right to your username
3. tap to add account
