how do i fix my keyboard and make it work?

every time I go to use my keyboard to type it pops up "Unfortunately, LG Keyboard has stopped". it happens when I go into apps or try to click on the keyboard. How do I fix this??

Have you tried any other keyboards, if not give the Google Keyboard or any other free keyboard a shot. Sounds like something is amiss and killing the keyboard when it starts. Do you have any task managers, installed any new software lately. It could be related to any of those. When all else fails, a factory reset and start with one app at a time to see if anyone in particular is causing the issue.
