I turned off my tablet with Android keyboard deactivated, how can I log in as it no longer boots with it?

I turned off my tablet with android keyboard deactivated

I deactivated the android keyboard on my tablet, but then accidentally rebooted it and can no longer log in. PLEASE HELP!!

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? The only thing I can think of would be to connect a USB keyboard, but I'm not entirely sure that would work.
