RCA tablet stuck on erasing, how can I get it off of this?

Rca tablet stuck on erasing

My RCA tablet is stuck on erasing after I factory reboot it. It's been that way for two days now.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you do the hard reset because it was already malfunctioning?

It sounds like the hardware might be failing. Try forcing a shutdown by pressing and holding Power for 15-20 seconds. Then power back on normally. If it freezes at the bootscreen or doesn't power on, then the tablet is probably dead.

Mine is the same. Apps wouldn't work and it kept shutting down randomly. I did the factory reset to wipe it clean and its been on that same erasing screen for almost two days. I've tried shutting it down. Pushing to reset button in back. Holding down power and volume key. All those things and it goes right back to the same screen saying erasing yet the progress bar hasn't changed in two days. There isn't that much on there. So I am assuming it is just a cheap POS and I should trash it.
