My screen won't display?

My Samsung Galaxy S3 phone still works but the menu screen won't load or show up. I can still play my downloaded music (using the change function on my earbuds) but other than that it's a black screen. It happened after I tried making a call to someone. I've attempted to turn it on and off multiple times and removed the battery but nothing. Need further advice, thanks!
