Hey there,

I'm trying to figure out the meanings of these options in android menu:

1st in Language & keyboard settings / Text settings --> below "Android keyboard settings", see photo-1

&

2nd below the 1st one, inside "#$#$#$#$# settings", see photo-2

Thanks!

Looks like you have some sort of Chinese keyboard installed. What phone do you have and where did you get it?

My best GF's son does, But I told him to charge big miney for translations.

Dude, change ROMs.

1. Root the phone.

2. Make your backups.

3. Flash at least a stock ROM.

You have a counterfiet phone. AKA, a replica. No matter what they told you (sellers), it's fake.

My HTC was made in china, under authority of HTC. It is just fine.

With replicas, you get a mixture of languages, because, they never thought the phone would be into the hands of an english speaker.

You could try installing a regular keyboard from the market, and select that. If..... you're afraid of coming to the dark side.

How about the rest of the system? Any mixture of languages?

...but doesn't all android phones that run 2.2 OS have the same menu layout ?

Wouldn't it all be the same ? If so could somebody just write what it says in English ?

If not, life goes on...

Life goes on.....

Is there anything else in Chinese?

Oh, and the answer is No. Not all Froyo/Gingerbread ROMs have the same layout. Think about it. How many languages?

2.2 (Froyo)
2.3 (Gingerbread)

In any case if there is someone out there who could help me translate it, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Let's suppose I have Hackybrick 2.2 Android OS made in China and what? If you don't know the answer why speak up a all ?

Dude, that type of response, will get you excommunicated.

Everybody here, at least most people, will at least try to put in their 2 cents worth.

Shouldn't be ostracized for that.

And asofar, you haven't answered any questions anybody has asked.

Like, where is the phone from?

Who cares if it's an illegal phone. Hell, I use one also. So what's the diff?
