the way I had the screens set up on the phone after a factory reset? Without rooting that is. I just reset my Dinc and now I have to go and set up my screens to the way they were. I used mybackup pro. It worked fine except for the HTC sense portion. Plus my keyboard dictionary is gone.

Any form of (reset) will automatically revert all modifications on the device (everything) to its original factory settings.

The only way to save screen settings like you are trying to do is to use a third party launcher, like Launcher Pro or ADW Ex, and save the settings. Other than that, you can't do it without root access. Even then, I don't think you can save the sense home screen layout and apps even with root access.
