Dismiss Calendar on top of clock screen

Hey all -

I had posted this on the Samsung Charge forum over a week ago with no response, so am expanding the audience to the non-phone specific category.

I've just switched from an HTC Evo to a Samsung Charge. My company uses Exchange for e-mail and it requires a password on the lock screen.

When a calendar reminder comes up, my phone makes an audible alert, but to dismiss the reminder I have to actually unlock my phone. On the Evo this was not the case, the alarm dismiss (or snooze) was available on top of the lock screen.

Is this a setting somewhere that I'm overlooking, something HTC UI specific? Other ?

Just a difference in the UI from manufacturer to manufacturer.

I don't have a Samsung, so I can't research any settings. In it's stock form, I think you're probably just stuck with it unfortunately.

Sorry couldn't help you.

Of course if the audible annoys you, you could simply place the phone face down, and it should be silent. Or maybe that's just on HTC phones.
