The smartphone sony are good, people who have experience with cellular sony xperia. performing well without giving problem for much time.I have seen with LG cellular tend to give problem. In my home two have problem already. LG G2 And A LG G3.

My Xperia Z3 on Verizon had overheating and camera shutdown problems with its 4K video and driving GPS. Its headphone output was terrible too. My LG V10 and even mega-outdated iPhone 5C (which I still use as a wifi media player) never had these problems.

I'm done with Sony.

All four LG-made phones I've owned, a G3 being one of them, have been trouble-free.
Of Sony devices, I have no experience.

Sony phones are fine for me, but lack of new lockscreen from Xperia X, removal of Dualshock 3 support, overheating(not too heat).

I'm using Xperia Z3 and performance now are still fine for me.
