"Cannot connect to..." error only on Play Music?

So I have the Chromecast working like a charm on a Galaxy S3 and Asus TF300 for all apps. However on our Galaxy S2 it only works for the Netflix and Youtube apps. When trying to cast from Play Music, everytime I hit the cast icon I get a "Cannot connect to Chromecast xxxxx" error.

Anybody else seen this problem? Better yet, anyone found a solution? I've cleared the Play Music cache, reverted to factory installed version, reinstalled latest version, but still the same.

I have a GS2 at home in my arsenal and it's the only Android device I haven't tried yet. Will check it our for you when I get home.

Same problem here on my Samsung Galaxy Epic Touch 4G (S2 on sprint).
Pandora, Songza, Netflix and Youtube all cast perfectly but when I try the latest version of Play Music I get the "cannot cast" error.. Major bummer!

Had the same error message in play music. a force stop on the play music app solves this problem temporally for me
