The "I JUST GOT MY SHIPPING NOTICE!!!!" Thread!

When I called on Monday before the email that shipments would start this week went out, I got a follow-up email regarding the call that said:

Thank you for contacting Google Play!

I apologize for the delay in the shipment of your package and have processed a full refund for the cost of shipping.

Hasn't it been said that they'll be refunding the shipping charge in a week? Since we have emails from the original No. 15 back order update saying we'd get free shipping, we shouldn't have any trouble getting our $13.99 back should we have to chase them.

My shipping notice came yesterday (11/27) at 12:35PM Eastern time. As of right now (11/28) at 10AM Eastern time, shows a label was printed but not at UPS. I hate this so much.

Just got my tracking number at 9:06AM CST.

Mine still shows "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status will be updated." on UPS. This after the tracking number went live at 5pm CST yesterday. I got a MyChoice email at midnight saying I would be getting a delivery tomorrow though but still no update on tracking page.

I hope I do not slip into the same issue as another poster in another thread did where his kept getting delivery date + 1 and ultimately the package was lost...

I got my tracking earlier yesterday and mine still says the same thing. But seeing several of us in the same boat has me slightly less worried

I hope so.

I don't think the charge would have been re-posted on my credit card, along with the play store order saying "completed," from "pending," unless it was actually shipped.

If they mess that up...

MINE JUST GOT DELIVERED!!! Its only 10 feet away and I can't play with it yet. I'm almost done with a training session so as soon as these guys finish there test I am ripping that bad boy open to put it on charge and start setting it up. I for one am very happy Google uses Louisville as their hub, helped me get it a day early...

Just got my shipping email 10 minutes ago but the TNT (they use them in the UK not UPS) has no info which I'm not surprised, but the Google Play account states "Delivered" lol

I received shipping notice from Google at 9:06AM CST today and that had the tracking number on it. I just checked the tracking number at UPS and it was scanned at 11:02am CST.

I should get my phone tomorrow.

This blows. You got your shipping notice 2.5hrs ago and it already had a scan within 2hrs. I got my shipping notice 24hrs ago and no scan yet.

A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

FYI, I called the Google support line and spoke to a nice lady. She said the tracking information would probably show up later today (even though it was 24hr+ already). To be safe though, she escalated to a "specialist" who will be checking to make sure it went out and nothing funky is going on. This created an email trail for the Google Play support activity. I'll report any updates.

That's actually a good sign. I was worried that mine, which also "shipped" 24 hours ago but still hasn't been scanned, was being held for a later bulk shipment. If others have actually shipped and been scanned since then it likely means any earlier shipments are en route and weren't scanned properly at origin. I've had packages come cross country over a week and show up at my door without the tracking ever having been updated. Fingers crossed in any case.
