I always play with developer option but only to a certain extend.
lowering the animation scale don't increase performance but it will make you feel that your phone is faster.

animation scale is the animation you see when you open an app, when a popup shows up.

So can you tell me what "Force 4x MSAA" does? Says that it enables 4x MSAA in OpenGl 2.0 apps. What does it mean? Thanks in advance.

I believe 4x MSAA has to do with a particular set of shaders in the opengl platform. Now don't take my word for it as I don't work on opengl, so know little about it. But I do know that enabling it pushes the shaders to the max, thereby increasing visual quality (like edge smoothness and the like), but it also consumes far more battery life. And support varies widely per device/app.

I tried to enable it on my s3 and it messed up my graphics big time. Some apps wouldn't even open.
