What is " com.android.chrome:sandboxed_process2?"

No idea what this is, also, process9 pops up in my better stats. Any help? Chrome has been crashing a lot lately as well.

I'm not sure but every time I restart my nexus 7 2013 on 4.4.2 Chrome is removed from my application bar at the bottom I have to manually re add it every time it is rather annoying

Looks like its related to security in chrome and a lot of folks on xda are complaining about it as well. No one seems to have a fix though, other than using a different browser like Dolphin and disabling Chrome.

It seems to be a problem with the new chrome beta, well at least for me it has. For me it has been showing this since the last chrome beta update.

That problem of the missing icon is due to a bug in the "gel" launcher, it happens to any icon placed in the last spot on this launcher.

I have seen it take up some battery as well, it has happened once and when it did i just force closed chrome and wiped data in chrome. It seemed to have worked as I haven't had the issue since.
