I'm rooted. The issue has been resolved. Thanks for that.
i had rooted towelroot and installed SuperSU completely stock otherwise. Will an ota update brick my phone.. What shall i do to make the update.
Pls help me with this too

Glad the issue resolved--what did you do to resolve it? It may help others searching about the same problem.

I'm not experienced with rooting, so I can't answer your other question. Sorry!

I cleared the data for services framework. Not recommended generally. But it seemed like the only way to go
