Sprint micro SIM from Apple?

I've had the same experience other Sprint customers have had with the Nexus 5. None of the local Sprint stores have any SIM cards and Sprint Worldwide says they're on backorder. When calling local stores, I started to tell them I had an Evo or iPhone since they're also LTE phones with micro SIMS and the operators would go full derp once I mentioned the Nexus 5. One store suggested I might find an iPhone 4 micro SIM at an Apple store and it turned out, she was right.

I picked up the card for $0, put it in the phone, and the Nexus 5 now says "EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY - SPRINT" on the lock screen. I went to the My Sprint website to activate the phone, entered the IMEI sans last digit, proceeded to enter the ICC ID, but when checking the ID the site says "Please enter a valid serial number."

Should this work or am I the one derping?

Pretty sure iPhone uses a nano not a micro.

The iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S use a micro. The one I got fit in the phone perfectly.

The sim I got today at a Sprint store was for their iPhone 5 sales - works great!

But those aren't LTE. The part number on the sprint sim should be SIMGLW206R.

The sim I got today at a Sprint store was for their iPhone 5 sales - works great!

iPhone 5 definitely uses a nano sim, not a micro. Glad it works but unless you used an adapter they gave you a micro (same as S4 and HTC One).
