High there. My Nexus 7 Wifi updated to 4.2.2 a couple of weeks ago via OTA. At the time it had never been unlocked or rooted. All was good until I tried opening the Contacts app, which failed to open with the message: "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped." I tried everything I could think of, including:
Then I decided to unlock the bootloader. I had been planning to root for a while, and I thought that the wipe and reinstall would fix the problem. No dice. When I did root it, the problem changed a bit. Now, the People icon is the green Android symbol, and when I try to run it, it says "app not installed."
Does anyone know where I can get the Google Contacts app? It's not like I can just get it from the Play store.
TIA

- Restarting the tablet.
- Going into Settings>Apps and force-stopping Contacts and Contacts Storage and clearing caches and data.
- Deleting my Google account, restarting, and signing back up for it.
