I've been poking around looking for a Black Friday deal on a Nexus 7 (16GB) as well.

Adorama had a deal on eBay yesterday... $239 with official case and screen protector and free shipping so I picked one up. No tax in most states. I think it's the second time they've done eBay sales so maybe they'll do them again. They sold 2000 pretty quickly yesterday.

I just picked up a Nexus 7 32GB from Office Depot for $215. I've been through a few tablets (Xoom LTE, Xyboard 10.1 & iPad 3 LTE). I'm a bit nervous about using a tablet that requires a tether on my phone, but I'm not laying out $800 for an iPad.

Hopefully my RAZR MAXX HD and Wi-Fi tablet will play well together.

Seems you got lucky, the code was invalidated shortly after that and it seems they're not even selling it online at the moment. Probably dealing with the backlog of orders, some people actually had their orders canceled. They barely have it in stock around here, one nearby store has 1 in stock, another three are out, and the one location that's an hour away has several.

I'm just waiting for it to come back in stock at Newegg, without taxes and with free shipping it'll be $20 more at most (compared to the Office Depot deal), good enough. They've been out since the weekend tho.
