You can make place multiple shortcuts for the same app on any homescreen. Just open your App Drawer, long-press the app, then drag and drop it wherever you want, on whichever homescreen you want, and however many times you want.

Welcome to Android Central! If you're talking about app shortcuts on the homescreen, you can remove them by long-pressing them until you're able to move them, then dragging them to the Remove area. This just removes the shortcut--it doesn't delete the app itself.
