No, downloaded the image went to connect and realized I was still locked. Going to have to fix this tonight.

Manually installed notice some stability improvments over the latest preview but that's expected

Manually installed the image with the instructions from AC. Very easy and worth it, b/c this thing is great with Lollypop.

It's about the same for me maybe a little better I need to use it more to get a more specific answer

you will first need to unlock you bootloader here

Android 5.0 Lollipop Nexus factory images are live — here's how to update! | Android Central

Once you have installed it I would recommend locking the bootloader after using the guide to unlock it but use this command instead fastboot oem lock

Sideloading the OTA is the way to go. Did it on both the 2012 and the 2013. Only problem I had was older drivers that didn't want to work in Recovery.
