Just got the official OTA

I have N7 2013 WiFi. I've tried side loading 5.01 but my computer didn't have or couldn't find the driver. Any suggestions on finding the driver? Also is there any procedure to force the update?

According to Droid Life today, Google released a factory image for 5.0.2 for the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi. So that may be why many haven't gotten the 5.0.1 update. But commenters are saying this release doesn't fix the memory leak.

After reading your message, I went to the Droid Life site and found a posting about the factory image for 5.0.2 being released, but the posting said it was for the Nexus 7 (2012) WiFi, not the 2013. Was there somewhere else that you saw 2013?

You could be right, but it's hard to tell as so many others have still not received the OTA. However, I don't think Google worries at all about rooting (unlike carrier devices), so I suspect I would have still been offered the OTA but it would probably have failed during the install.

ITA. I have an N5 and N7 2013. Both are rooted and neither have received anything. I guess once everyone else confirms, we'll see if we did or didn't get it OTA.
