Has anyone tried Kindle Fire Cases on your Nexus yet?
I'll reimburse you for your gas if you go to Best Buy and "try on" a bunch of their Kindle Fire cases
. I got my son a Galaxy 2.7 and it fit well into a Fire case - I am hoping (come Monday) that my Nexus will also fit in a Kindle Fire case.

Re: Has anyone tried Kindle Fire Cases on your Nexus yet?
I have a Verso case for my Kindle Fire that I dearly LOVE and I did put my N7 in it, but the elastic on the top right hits the power button. I was able to scootch (is that even a word?) the elastic up a bit so its not over the power button but I'm afraid when I put it in my purse, over the course of time, it will go back over it. I will try to take a pic soon and post if that will help.

Thanks gang! I hope to have it Monday and will do what I usually do...open up every case at Best Buy and try them on. I figure my wife does it with cloths I can do it with cases.

Yes. I bought the $15 AmazonBasics Leather Folio Cover with Multi-Angle Adjustable Stand for Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 (Black) and it fits, nice and snug. My only complaint is the that loop in the top-right corner blocks access to the power button and volume rocker (though you can still get to them and without having to undo the corner). Minor nuisance until something more official comes along.

Re: Has anyone tried Kindle Fire Cases on your Nexus yet?
This sleeve was designed for the Kindle, but fits the Nexus 7 like a champ, is $6.19, and Prime-eligible for free 2-day shipping. The same seller also sells it directly on Amazon (not prime eligible) with the cost + shipping adding up to the same, and in that listing (didn't copy it, sorry) they show it as being designed for the Nexus -- though it's the same dimensions, etc.
I was a little concerned that it might be a bit too snug on height and require a little stretching since the Nexus is a bit taller than the Kindle, but it fits like a glove - I have to think the Kindle would actually have a little bit of sliding room.Last edited by Jeremy8000; 07-18-2012 at 01:20 PM. Re: Has anyone tried Kindle Fire Cases on your Nexus yet?
I already had this one for my Kindle and it doesn't work 100% for my Nexus 7. The tablet fits well but the case covers the power and volume buttons. If you slide it in the opposite way, you can just move the flap and reach the buttons.
I'm thinking of modifying it until better cases come around for the N7. - 07-18-2012, 07:42 PM

I purchased the Belkin case as well. It works great. I just don't use the top right corner strap and it still fits in there tight.

I purchased a Kindle sleeve. It fits very nicely but I would love to find a good case that is on it all of the time.

Found one made by Poetic as well. Looks pretty much the same, I ordered one of each to compare. I give my wife one of them.
