The "Live Wallpaper Lag" is a bug carried over from Honeycomb

I wanted to include "I think" in that title but I ran out of room.

Anyway I'm pretty sure the lag people are talking about with the Live Wallpapers on the Nexus is just a glitch that got ported over from the tablet OS. Xoom or Galaxy Tab, if I have a live wallpaper running in landscape, for the most part it's nice and smooth. When I rotate it into portrait, all of a sudden there's lag.

Can anyone with a Nexus confirm if the wallpapers make the homescreen lag in landscape too?

Yes there is especially when you use the interactive ones. The default Live Wallpaper doesn't lag though. Dunno why.
