Stock EH03 Battery Life

So a couple weeks ago I was jumping between custom ROMS a lot. ICS, PP, CM7. For miscellaneous reasons I ended up back at rooted stock EH03, full release. I knew my battery was out of calibration, and since the stock kernel doesn't have the ability to clear the battery stats, I figured I'd try to do it manually. Ever since I have had extraordinary battery life, i.e 36 hours off the charger, with moderate use. Might have been a fluke, but I figured I'd put it out there for others to try to see if they get the same results.

By the way, this is an old understood method I picked up on from a year ago or so.. I didn't come up with it, or "create it" . I'm just sharing that it worked for my phone. : )

Follow these steps:

1. Charge your phone overnight to 100%
2. Power off the phone and let it charge to 100%
3. Power the phone back on and again charge to 100%
4. Power off, pull the battery and leave out for a minute (doesn't have to be exact), and re-insert.
5. Power on and see how it does.

i went back to stock as well.. and will stay on stock until cm, or miui, or the other options catch up with the new source code to make it fully and completely stable. although if ics asop build goes beta.. i may switch to that.. anywho thanks for this step i will try it.. so far i have had about 18 hours off charger.. when i was getting 5 hours off charger.. (heavy user) so we shall see..

I'm running SuperClean (not far from stock really), but it is still the best battery life I've had on this phone. I too have jumped back and forth between ROMS over the past months until settling on Superclean once it was released. I'm staying put for the battery life alone. This is the first time I can get through an entire day without charging at all, and still have at least 20-30% left when I go to bed. Thanks for the reminder on how to train the battery, it definitely helps for sure.

I am running SC .5 but my battery life is HORRID! I tried the suggestion above and I only got about 6 hours of very moderate use out of it.

What is the rest of your set up? I am running the stock launcher and kernel, and made it through the whole day yesterday with low to moderate use, left it on overnight, battery was at 11% this morning.
