Tv remote keeps saying can't connect to server anyone run into this?

Yes. HTC stopped supporting this app. They recommend that you use Peel Smart Remote instead.

This, but I've also had several cases recently where Peel wasn't connecting too. Then again, Peel pales in comparison to the original HTC tv app. I don't really like Peel, but it seems to be the only open use app in the Play store that's both an IR remote and t.v. guide. Everything else seems to either be brand explicit to other phones, doesn't have the guide, or is a Wi-Fi remote app for smart tv's.
