CleanROM was designed to be a cleaned up Sprint Stock ROM with some features and enhancements! This is not a heavily themed ROM!
All HTC and Google Apps are uptdate as of 11/20/2011.
ROM is de-odexed and based on official Sprint RUU 2.08.651.2.

Prerequisites

Custom Recovery installed
hboot 1.3 / hboot 1.4 / hboot 1.5
Note to hboot 1.5 Users you will loose WiFi and 4G unless read the hboot 1.5 notes

How to Flash

Download ROM and place on the root of your SD Card
Boot into recovery mode
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Flash ROM
Reboot and enjoy!

Yeah, it should run smooth, very light modifications at this time until I feel this puppy out some... Although Market did force close on me once but never again. I think that is more market related and why google has not released it "officially." I have also seen the complaints on many other threads in regards to but not related to my ROM; Im sure its a Market thing. If it were to get annoying or bad I can always revert to official released.

Good question...

For this ROM Overclocking... Trying to talk jondevere into do some themes for it as well. I can do them but I prefer to work on the OS. Thats more fun then working on the graphics. My sROM for LG Optimus S... OMG took me three days with no sleep to build that theme! Was worth it because people love it! Check it out: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...tionality.html

I am also working on another ROM currently... Its going to be called Sense-Less ROM (or something similar) because it will be a stripped down ROM with ONLY Android, No HTC or Sprint stuff on it. Right now I am testing it and its booting with 600+ megs of free memory and is stupid fast. Its on the Alpha stage... Few more days to a week and I should have what I want. This will be a perfect ROM for those that dont like Sense and want to use there favorite launcher.

I am also mentally working on this one: It will be like CleanROM but will be themed with a lot of transparency like sROM for Optimus S....

Then lastly... I am going to try to port over the Euro 3D ROM. It has GB 2.3.4 where our ROM has 2.3.3. But thats far off.... Way far off. I dont see me starting that (at least without help) for a few weeks....

So yeah, thats my road map....

I went back to my backup for now (damn it is nice to be able to do this again) Not being able to get to settings kind of makes some things a little tricky. Can't wait to flash it back.

Thanks, this sounds like just the ROM I'm looking for.

One question, which bloatware is removed? For example, some people consider Sprint's navigation program (TeleNav) to be bloatware but I use it.

"One man's bloatware is another man's must-have..." (Not really but you get the idea...)

Can anyone confirm the wifi tether works on 3g and 4g? I can only get google.com to come up on my cpu and no other sites while tethering on 3g and nothing at all on 4g.

Are you talking about Sprint hotspot that was integrated into the new version or WiFi tether?

the Wifi Tether app is the one Im using from the market, ive also tried the beta2 version from the website.

The sprint hotspot app says "your account does not include Mobile Hotspot Service, Please contact Sprint"

REFLASH THE ROM.. It has been integrated into the ROM. ALSO... try the wifi tether in the stickys. IT DOES WORK

If you have no access to settings you did something wrong.

Did you flash the 3D Home screen settings as well?
