Repetitive calendar reminders work maybe every other instance?

Help! I have an EVO 3D phone from virgin mobile. Forgive me if this topic has already been covered somewhere else but I am new to your forums.
My default calendar app on my phone has reminders all over the place. I LIVE in my calendar I think. However, some of my events which are set to remind me on time of daily repetitive events seem to only appear every other day. Please help? What do I need to do to fix this? I have tried deleting the entire series of appointments and recreating them, creating them on Google Calendar and then syncing....nothing helps.

Would like to use my note to use as daytimer for my work schedule which rotates every 4 weeks. Tried so many different ways to no avail. Appreciate your help. Thank you,
