Htc Evo 4g Data Speed?

Is there a way to improve the speed at the EVO? I'm getting .25 to .30 mbps and my spare Samsung Replenish gets .90 to 1 mbps and its a slower phone!
This is not possible man..
Any links or ideas to improve it in a free-cost way?

i had a similar problem with my replacement evo it was way slower then my first one. 5 hours on the phone with sprint jumping thru hoops it is still half as fast as the epic 4g sitting next to it

Do u know how to install a latest radio?I don't get that part of insstalling

i went thru so many menus it's not funny. like i said i am still only getting half the speed of my gf epic sitting side by side.

i am assuming your rooted otherwise i would just drop it off at a sprint store and tell them to fix it

Unless u unroot and back to stock.
But I got it sorta fixed..I know what it talkin about those menus..when I had a palm pre-they had a sticking about improving evdo connection(3g)
And I also did the same for the EVO but its a different menu cause of different phones.
